This vibrantly coloured and substantial sommerso (submerged) candlestick is attributed to the designer Antonio da Ros for the Cenedese factory on Murano. Typical of the colours and techniques of Murano during the 1960s, and reminiscent of the designs of Flavio Poli for Seguso, a bright yellow base and stem elegantly leads up to the orange tulip-shaped, which appears to have red tones under certain lights. An eye-catching, good quality piece that screams period style and would look great on a 1960s teak sideboard or table.

9.25in (23.5cm) high
